Annabelle is very very interested in colors and talks about them all of the time lately. However, as the video shows, she doesn't get the concept yet. Normally she guesses a different (wrong) color for everything but she just started saying everything was yellow last night. It is nice to know with my previous experience that she will learn them in good time and I don't have to try so hard to teach her......unless she is color-blind.
Ok the fact that she knows yellow and says it so clearly is amazing to me. She is so smart. Even though everything is yellow right now, Will is still on Tractor this tractor that.
Julie! I had your number programmed in my phone as my friend Julie in New Hampshire! It wasn't until I was trying to call her yesterday and I heard your sweet voice on your voice mail that it made sense to me, especially about the text for the house showing. And it occurred to me that I texted you saying I just past Heidi running, she has a sister named Heidi that just moved to my neighborhood! Ha! We were all talking about it last night. We went to see Yonder Mountain String Band...SO fun! But now I have you programmed in as you. So sorry for texts that don't make sense! =)
I'm afraid that Annabelle's inability to grasp the "colors" concept is bringing shame to the family. Please do something to remedy this problem immediately!
Oh my gosh.. so cute! I couldn't watch the video at work.. so I finally turned on my laptop at the house today so I could watch this.. it's just precious. My soon to be niece, abbie kate, does something similar.. she goes "i don't know".. and I say to her "yes you do.. what color is it?" and then she'll tell me.. but her response first is always "I don't know..".. kids are so cute!!
