In the past week Annabelle has potty trained and moved into a toddler bed. How about that? I have been waiting for her to climb out of the crib before moving her, but then realised that she might never try it as she tends to be so cautious. So we went ahead and moved her anyhow for no real reason aside from wanting rid of the crib.

Here is the astonishing thing: she hasn't gotten out of her bed without permission yet!!! I can't believe it after the battle this issue was with the boys. I was ready for it...spoon in hand...but she just stayed in there. How nice! I think girls are just smarter than boys. (just kidding)

I would put up some pictures, but remember, my camera is broken. It is hard to make an interesting post without pictures.

Success is always interesting... with pictures or without. Annabelle is awesome! Way to go, kiddo! If you were here, I'd take you out for ice cream.

that is awesome Julie, we got Cameron out of his crib too. he is doing awesome. But the first night, Brian caught them both sneeking down stairs. hayden in the lead Cameron following behind with a "Holy S$#%" look on his face. Like this is awesome, dad is gonna kill us. Ever sense then he has been pretty great. I've also started a new discipline thing. I had been having tons of trouble with the boys, and it seemed like all i was doing was spanking and yelling all the days long. A friend refered it to me. I'm not kidding its sound to easy to work. But it WORKS!!! blow me away work. We haven't spanked or really yelled (other than the occasional scolding) in like 2 weeks. Its called 1.2.3. Magic. I totally endorse it!

Sorry about the long comment, I should have made it a post, maybe I will.

Julie, It is great that Annabelle potty trained so quickly!
Will climbed out of his crib for the first time at 18 months, so we went ahead and moved him to a toddler bed and to our surprise and relief, he did not try to get out of that bed for 6 months. I think he felt more safe and secure if he stayed in the bed until we came and got him. Hopefully Annabelle will do the same!

that is AWESOME! Way to go give her a big high five from me! I have a weird idea wouldn't it be funny if you found random pictures of kids online and posted them in your posts like no big deal, and just acted like they were yours, I think I would be really entertained by this but others might think you are odd:)

I feel like I need to clarify that EVERYTHING I say in regards to parenting, homeschooling or whatever else is 100% regurgitated from what others have said or written. AAANNNDD that I don't do that great of a job practicing what I preach. I think I appear to have it together more than the reality of it all.

Cause I don't.

Love y'all! I am so thankful for blog friends!

Way to go, Annabelle (and Julie)! I'm very impressed and when Julia is finally ready to be potty trained we'll be calling up Annabelle for advice. She can tell us all about what worked for her.
